The “over lays” are in fact thick Sticker cut outs that sit on the surface of the grill letters, they do not cover or “overlay” the entire letters, which is what I was expecting based on the description and the price point. I can still see silver around the the white letters. Any other toyota overlays online actually snap over and cover the emblems completely and stick use 3M adhesive. I used these anyways. But if I had known this product was basically a thick surface sticker, at $40, I would've passed.
