Description

Add a new exterior look to your Toyota 4Runner by installing TUFSKINZ Skid Plate Letter Inserts. This kit adds style and protection to your vehicle and each letter is fittingly positioned into the OEM skid plate.

Material Type

Domed (Raised 4mm) - Our Domed product line is our signature product. Each piece is manufactured with our 3-layer process that has been designed and tested to withstand all elements.

1ST LAYER - Superior UV Doming Resin that creates a high gloss, scratch resistant, durable finish.

2ND LAYER - Consists of a variety of substrates including our 100% Real Carbon Fiber, Chrome, Camouflage and Factory color matches to allow an array of custom options.

3RD LAYER - Utilizes our 3M Automotive Grade Adhesive that creates the perfect bond to the surface of the vehicle and makes the product installation an ease.

**Only Exception: Real Carbon Fiber (Raw) is Raised 1mm**

Easy Installation

TUFSKINZ Skid Plate Letter Inserts are designed to fit the OEM skid plate with the embossed “TRD”. Prep and installation can simply be completed within 15 minutes.

HUGE & WON'T FIT

I was prepping the skid plate by removing the red letters and setting the new Tuffskinz letters next to it and immediately noticed how the letters they sent me are no where the same size. They are 40% larger than the OEM letters. I double checked my order and now I'm not going to be able to do my project and have to figure out how to get a refund or the correct part. Unfortunately, I already removed the red lettering so I can't reattach safely.

When purchasing this product, we offer 2 variations based off the year of the skid plate, not the vehicle. This is because we have found both year skid plates on the 2010-2018 and 2019-2024 4Runner. You will need to figure out what year skid plate you have in order to purchase the correct variation.
