Description

Add a new exterior look to your Tundra by installing TUFSKINZ Tailgate Letter Inserts. This kit adds style and protection to your vehicle and each letter is fittingly positioned into the debossed tailgate.

Material Type

Domed (Raised 4mm) - Our Domed product line is our signature product. Each piece is manufactured with our 3-layer process that has been designed and tested to withstand all elements.

1ST LAYER - Superior UV Doming Resin that creates a high gloss, scratch resistant, durable finish.

2ND LAYER - Consists of a variety of substrates including our 100% Real Carbon Fiber, Chrome, Camouflage and Factory color matches to allow an array of custom options.

3RD LAYER - Utilizes our 3M Automotive Grade Adhesive that creates the perfect bond to the surface of the vehicle and makes the product installation an ease.

 

Easy Installation

TUFSKINZ Tailgate Letter Insert pieces are designed to fit each letter on the tailgate of your truck. Prep and installation can simply be completed within 15 minutes.

Expensive but super high quality. So in my opinion they are worth it.

Delayed processing

The website states that any order will be processed no later than 7 business days. I reached out to customer service on day 8 because I had not received a notification that my order has be processed. It took more than 24 hours for anyone to respond to me. I was disappointed at the very long processing rate and the delayed response from an actual person.

The Tundra inserts were absolutely perfect and look amazing

Note: The 2014-2021 Tundra tail gate curves vertically & horizontally. The Tufskinz letters are flexible and adhere properly. They are made of good quality material. The plastic and metal inlay letters are not flexible and do not adhere properly. To make sure I got the letters straight and even, I removed my tailgate and laid it flat. This allowed me to easily lay the letters into place without them sticking and enabled me to easily make any adjustments needed. Once aligned, simply press them down from the center outward. Note: Recommended Temperature of the tailgate provided with instructions is 70-110 degrees. My tailgate was 75 degrees which turned out to be a perfect temperature. 2-3 minutes to remove tailgate, 15 minutes cleaning & installing letters & 2-3 minutes putting the tailgate back on. Letters look GREAT! I definitely recommend Tufskinz over all other brands & types on the market.
